Workspace overview
Workspace overview displays real server state with a next action, not placeholder statistics.
Surface contract
Primary object: the workspace record, its budget, its metered usage and the most recent authorized actions — each read as its own control-plane list.
Actions
- Create SoftwareOpens the guided setup; its product step posts POST /v1/software and creates nothing until you confirm. The analysis step states its cap in micro-USD before anything runs, and no charge applies until that cap is set.
- Open runCore studioRuns are listed per software by the core studio (resumable stage, error and retry state). This hosted build holds no engine records, so it offers no run list here; open the guided setup to create the software whose runs you would open.
- Set budgetSends PUT /v1/budgets/{id} with the new cap in micro-USD; owner/admin only. The Budgets section shows the server’s consumed and reserved values, and a cap below current consumption pauses further spend.
Required states and how this surface reaches them
- loading
- the session probe and each list show Loading… until the control plane answers.
- ready
- the server’s own records render as returned; the primary object is named before its details.
- empty
- no workspace row: create one with New workspace; no budget row: one is seeded per organization; no usage rows: the ingest endpoint appends them after consent; no audit rows: mutations append them.
- error
- the control plane’s status and detail are shown; no placeholder row replaces them.
- offline
- no control plane is reachable; nothing is rendered rather than invented.
- permission_denied
- a 401 returns to sign-in with this path; a 403 states that the role cannot read this surface.
- not_configured
- a 503 names the missing provider or secret; setup is shown, never fake results.
- budget_paused
- a spending call refused with 402 (quota_exceeded / upgrade_required) is shown with its server detail, and the Budgets section shows the cap and consumption that caused it.
- requires_approval
- mutations the server reserves for an explicit human owner/admin are refused with its own detail and never auto-approved here.
Scope: workspace membership. Workspaces, budgets, usage and audit are server lists; the server decides who may read or change them, and this page never calculates a permission or invents a row.
